Suitable for people aged 12 and upwards. Anyone younger than 16 needs to be accompanied.

Join fibre artist Sue Crawley in this brand new slow stitching workshop.

Slow stitching is a mindful and relaxing experience and can be used to repair and recycle clothes and household textiles.  

In this workshop, which is inspired by Japanese Boro stitching, you will create a tweed and tartan landscape, using a beautifully curated selection of tartan and tweed fabrics, hand dyed swatches, printed leaves, vintage ribbon, and coloured thread, you will create a panel using slow stitch. You will be guided to create your own tweed and tartan slow stitch textile by Sue, an experienced teacher and textile enthusiast.     

All materials provided; no experience required.  Suitable for beginners / experience stitchers.
